Subsequently all Mercure hotels have the French tint - in the way they are decorated and organized. Mercure Amsterdam Airport offers one of the most economical solutions to stay in the Amsterdam Airport area. The price of the room typically includes breakfast (check your reservation) and Mercure accepts one child without any surcharge in the parents room – a really reasonably priced solution if you travel with kids.
Location
Mercure is located 10 km from Schiphol Airport, at the small Nieuwe Meer lake, directly at the highway A4 leading to Amsterdam. Highways A9 and A10 are also very close. Staying at Mercure you are much closer to the city than in other airport hotels, but if you travel without a car you must take the hotel’s free shuttle back to the airport to visit Amsterdam. Taxi is your only convenient other option. The Amsterdam Congress Centre RAI is really nearby (5 km), but the centre of the city is still ca. 10 km away. There is a city bus connection with Amsterdam, but it is not handy.
The hotel’s free shuttle taking you from and to the Amsterdam Airport operates every 30 minutes.

If your plane leaves at the time which several hours is after the hotel’s check out (12 a.m.), you may ask to stay in your room several hours longer (but not overnight) for a half day charge.
